The Consortium Steering Committee
The Consortium Steering Committee: The Livability Plan Consortium is currently made up of the following members and will meet every other month to provide regional perspective and guidance to plan development. This group will help the Livability Initiative staff identify members to serve on the nine citizen working groups relating to the nine element areas of the Livability Initiative: agriculture, cultural heritage, economic development, energy, internet access, housing, natural resources, transportation, and water resources. Representatives from each locality will serve on working groups and provide advice about the products and strategies developed during the planning process. The Livability Initiative is still seeking both Consortium and Advisory Members who are willing to provide their expertise, support engagement efforts, and represent the interests of residents in the New River Valley. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us.
